Read. Think. Act!

SNN is US!
WE OFTEN wonder if there are students who read us. We pose this query as we see the growing apathy among the members in our community—a cold indifference sadly shown in their reading habits.
Most of them do not read. They hate it. That’s a fact. They hate thinking and their simple reacting to a critical issue would paint a mile-wide smile on our Editorial Board’s faces.
Sparking opinions and stirring emotions—whether negative or positive—are all part and parcel of interesting student journalism.
We want the students to react, interact, and act because we believe that delivering news and features to an audience is not the end-all and be-all of journalism.
The Sacredian wants a type of journalism that sparks positive actions. A type of student journalism dauntless in discussing critical issues yet tactful in promoting solutions.
With this in mind, the quintessential questions are: Do students read us, know us, or are aware that we exist in print? How are we going to forge a society of thinking and expressive students when they, in the first place, are not cognizant of our very existence?
The birth of SNN is an answer to this. We want to be ever visible. We want to engage the students and even the parents into a school community where awareness and discussions are all healthy activities and are considered vital to progress and advancement.
SNN will continue to revolutionize Sacredian student journalism experience.
Expect that we will be everywhere, going beyond the border and exploring new horizons.
We are always on-the-go. We are now even at your fingertips!
IT IS our unflinching desire to give the students and the community quality campus journalism. Thus, we have grabbed the potent force of technology in driving this desire to reality.
SNN (Sacredian News Now) on Facebook and its News Portal are but our hope of serving more students and achieving beyond what is expected of us. After all, we honestly believe that today’s journalism has to be sparked with innovations.
